River Watch is a Red River Basin-wide citizen water quality monitoring program organized and delivered by the International Water Institute and its partners through high schools and communities. The program has grown from one pilot watershed to a network of more than 35 schools monitoring 160 sites. Teachers and students collect water quality data, learn about monitoring rivers and streams, and make presentations to local units of government.
